Dan Hicks is a proud family man with two talented boys and one active but very cheeky dog. He has spent the last 20 years of his life as a Customer Service Officer for Ansett and Qantas Airlines respectively. He has carried out a range of duties in this time, from baggage handling to operations/load control and everything in between. However, it is his customer service training and experience that has always been his focus.
“We all like to be treated well. We all like to be made to feel welcome and comfortable, especially when we are outside our comfort zone.”
During this time, Dan worked his way around this great country of ours and has always enjoyed keeping fit through sports and recreation.
“It’s a great way to make friendships and stay active. I often found myself volunteering my services to help out with organised sporting groups. Whether it is was helping out with training drills, coaching, managing or captaining, I was sure to put my hand up.”
More recently, Dan has tried his hand at half marathons, full marathons, triathlons and a half ironman in order to explore the best training techniques for cardio vascular and muscular endurance.
“If you want to go down that road, I now know how to get you to smash your old personal best times. I have learnt proven techniques to get you more toned, faster, fitter and stronger. For most people though, I’m just happy to help you achieve your goals to feel healthier and enjoy your fitness time by providing good instruction in a fun, safe and friendly environment.”
After completing his certifications in 2014, Dan has been training clients in his Home Studio and at Boot Camps. During this time, we have seen some amazing results. You might be amazed about what he can do 4U!
